Spectrum's core is manufacturing aerospace LCDs available in industry standard sizes intended for avionic and simulation applications. These include 3ATI, 4x4, 5x5, and 6x6 with a 1:1 aspect ratio. The custom displays developed for aerospace applications have robust mechanical features including an edge-lit backlight that meets the brightness criteria for sunlight viewability and is compact to fit the space requirements in cockpit applications. Custom backlight options include full-time and dual-mode NVIS using proprietary technology to meet strict criteria for chromaticity and radiance while maximizing daytime performance. All of the display modules include enhancement options such as custom AR cover glass cover lens assemblies specially designed to maximize display contrast.
