Highly Recoverable and Robust Rollable AMOLED Display with Smart Elastomer Materials

Description:

New robust rollable display with smart elastomer was suggested, improved pen drop height from 2cm to 9.5cm without any electrostatic damage. Elastomer enormously reduced stain of panel thanks to energy damping and tensile hardening and permanent deformation height at the edge of panel to 4mm after rolling cycles of 200,000 at rolling radius of 15mm. Strain distribution was studied using strain senor and simulation and validated by experiment.
