Identifying the Key Issues in Inferior Performance of Quantum Rod LEDs

Student

Description:

Indium arsenide (InAs) colloidal quantum dots (QDs) are emerging as promising alternatives to lead- and mercury-based semiconductors for solution-processed short-wave infrared (SWIR) sensors. InAs QDs offer a tunable bandgap, adjustable through particle size, and exhibit exceptional charge transport properties, making them highly suitable for SWIR applications. This work explores the synthesis, structural characteristics, and performance of InAs QDs in SWIR sensing across 900-1400 nm wavelength range.
