Optical Measurement with Foveated Rendering and Dynamic Compensation in Eye-Tracking Near-Eye Displays
Distinguished
Description:
This study explores eye-tracking technology in extended reality (XR), focusing on measurement methods for near-eye display systems. An MTF measurement based on Eye-Tracked Foveated Rendering (ETFR) and chromaticity uniformity compensation methods were developed. Results show ETFR improves image clarity compared to Fixed Foveated Rendering (FFR). Chromaticity uniformity also improved, reducing green shift and JNCD, while chromatic aberration showed minimal improvement.
