Fatima Bencheikh, Ph.D., received her electronic engineer degree at USTO in Algeria then a Ph.D. degree in micro and nanoelectronics at Aix-Marseille University, France, in 2015. Following this, she worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Kyushu University until 2019. In March 2019, she co-founded KOALA Tech. Inc., a high-tech startup focusing on organic laser applications. She served as CTO of KOALA tech from 2019 to 2023, then assumed the role of CTO and CEO of KOALA Tech. She is also a visiting associate professor at Kyushu University since 2019, with research interests in organic optoelectronic devices, particularly OLEDs and organic semiconductor lasers.
