My name is JUNGBUM KIM. I am leading the OLED Device Project at LG Chem's Science Park, where I focus on advancing OLED technology.
My professional career started at LG Chem's Research Park in 2005, where I managed the IT&E Materials R&D, OLED Materials, and OLED Lighting Team. Since 2015, I have been leading the OLED Device Project at LG Chem's Science Park, contributing significantly to the development and commercialization of advanced OLED technologies.My extensive research experience in OLED field was made by a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Seoul National University, under the guidance of Prof. Jang-Joo Kim. My doctoral research centered on enhancing light extraction from transparent electrode-based OLEDs, aiming for high efficiency and superior color quality.
